About Brad Heugh
Brad Heugh’s story is deeply rooted in the values of hard work, service, and dedication. Raised on a farm in Rosedale, just east of Chilliwack in the Fraser Valley, Brad learned the importance of machinery, responsibility, and community service from a young age. His father, a Korean War Veteran, instilled in him a strong sense of duty that led Brad to join the Canadian Armed Forces at 19. After 12 years of proud service, Brad was medically released due to injuries sustained during the Persian Gulf conflict.
Following his military career, Brad pursued further education, earning his Power Engineer certification from Camosun College and BCIT. Over the past 20 years, he has worked both locally and out of province, always maintaining a strong connection to the Cowichan Valley, where he and Danielle have raised their four children. Now, Brad is excited to focus his energy on building West Coast Rental, a business that reflects his passion for the community and his extensive experience in machinery and construction.
About Danielle Heugh
Danielle shares Brad’s commitment to hard work and community. After a brief stay in Victoria, she and Brad settled in Mill Bay, where they built their life together, raising their children in this close-knit community. In 2016, they moved to their current property, where they established a small hobby farm. Danielle’s entrepreneurial spirit blossomed as they began raising their own meat and producing farm-fresh eggs, eventually creating a successful roadside egg business.
Now, with their eldest child off to university and Brad no longer working out of province, Danielle and Brad are thrilled to devote themselves to their new venture, West Coast Rental. Danielle brings her strong organizational skills and commitment to customer service to the business, ensuring that every client receives the personal attention and care they deserve.
